In this undated photo released by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, long-billed vulture chicks huddle at a breeding center in Pinjore, northern India’s Haryana state. The one of world’s most endangered birds has been bred in captivity for the first time in India, scientists said Tuesday, June 29, 2010.

- A rant I copied from a blog post on the net, and I am not sure if the person has read this article.

After the recent Maoist attacks in India, I have seen such expressions of ire at people like Arundhati Roy and any one who might have tried to look at the Maoist issue from a different perspective.

Maoist insurgency in India is sure a huge problem. While we have enough violence in the world to keep the news channels sensational every hour, I don’t expect people to be sympathetic to those who wiped out a whole camp of police men in a single swoop or derailed trains killing hundresds of people. However before putting the ‘Maosist problem’ in the same bag as ‘International Terrorism’, I invite people to read this article.
